Task 3
Record, edit and mix audio
This is another activity to help students get used to working with audio editing software like Audacity:
Following a demonstration, each student will do the following:
a) Create a sentence. It could be fact or definition from a subject currently being studied or just something for fun.
b) Mix up the words in the sentence and write it out.
c) Record the scrambled version of the sentence. Keep the answer handy.
d) Trade your scrambled sentence with another student and use the cut and paste tools in Audacity to put in back together. Use the answer sheet if necessary!
e) Finished examples will be posted on our class blogs.
